Slumberland Extends Support to Flood-Affected Families in Hulu Langat Through Mattress Donation Initiative

Date: 5th to 7th of December 2025

In response to the recent floods that impacted several communities in Hulu Langat, we at Slumberland mobilised a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to provide essential mattress support to families affected by the disaster.

We understand that when floods strike, families often lose basic household necessities — including a safe and comfortable place to rest. Guided by our purpose of improving sleep and well-being, this initiative focused on donating mattresses to help affected households regain comfort, dignity, and stability during the recovery process.

The mattresses were distributed across Taman Labu Lanjut, Kampung Sungai Serai, and Taman Nanding in Hulu Langat. To ensure equitable distribution and meaningful impact, we adopted a one-mattress-per-household approach, prioritising families with elderly members, persons with disabilities, infants, young children, and those severely affected by the floods.

Each mattress represents more than a product — it is a symbol of care, comfort, and our commitment to supporting families as they rebuild their lives.
